GSK Stockmann contributed to the publication of the Chambers Global Practice Guide – Shareholders’ Rights & Shareholder Activism

The new edition of the Global Practice Guide – Shareholders’ Rights & Shareholder Activism has been published by Chambers.

The guide features 18 jurisdictions and provides the latest legal information on voting requirements and the proposal of resolutions, shareholders’ rights to appoint/remove/challenge directors and in the event of liquidation/insolvency, shareholder activist strategies, and remedies available to shareholders against the company and directors.

The guide contains two sections: The “Law & Practice” section provides easily accessible information on navigating the legal system when conducting business in the jurisdiction. Leading lawyers explain local law and practice at key transactional stages and for crucial aspects of doing business. The “Trends & Developments” section gives an overview of current trends and developments in local legal markets. Leading lawyers analyse particular trends or provide a broader discussion of key developments in the jurisdiction.

GSK Stockmann contributed to the guide’s publication: Dr. Philipp Mössner (Partner at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg), Anna Lindner (Local Partner at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg), Chara Papagiannidi (Senior Associate at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg) and Maria Gusinski (Associate at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg) composed the section “Shareholders’ Rights & Shareholder Activism – Luxembourg Law & Practice”.

This chapter was originally published in the Chambers Global Practice Guide – Securitisation and is available for download as a PDF file; the whole guide is free to access as eGuide and on the Chambers website.
