Maria Pawelek is a Counsel in the Corporate and M&A practice at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg. She brings a rare combination of law firm, in-house and boardroom experience to the team and has been advising on cross-border transactions for more than 25 years. Her professional experience includes senior positions at a leading international law firm in Sydney and as a corporate lawyer in Luxembourg. She advises on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, corporate reorganisations, financing arrangements and commercial contracts. Her particular strength lies in Luxembourg holding structures and AIFM-supervised fund vehicles. As an experienced non-executive director, she brings a practical perspective on advising on governance, director duties and the oversight of complex investment platforms.
