On 14 March 2018, the Luxembourg Financial Sector Supervisory Commission (“CSSF”) has issued two warnings, on Initial Coin Offerings (“ICOs”) and on Virtual Currencies.
The CSSF warnings are in line with the statements and warnings issued in the last months by the European Supervisory Authorities and by financial supervisory authorities in other EU Member States and the US, showing that ICOs and Virtual Currencies are high in the agenda of financial regulators.
