The Chinese Outbound Investment Guide 2018 has been published by International Financial Law Review (IFLR) and looks at the changes that have been occurring in Chinese outbound investment patterns and how target markets are adapting.
The guide covers numerous jurisdictions such as Bangladesh, France, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Offshore jurisdictions, South-Africa, Switzerland, Taiwan and Turkey, and examines the effects of the sudden acceleration in Chinese outbound investment over 2015 and 2016 across all sectors that underwent a fundamental change in 2017 to become more targeted. For each chapter, the publication provides a general outlook and looks into investment approval, investment techniques, dispute resolution, forex controls and local operations as well as tax.
GSK Stockmann contributed to the guide: Dr. Marcus Peter (lawyer and Partner at our GSK Stockmann office in Luxembourg) and Yi Wang (Associate at our GSK Stockmann office in Luxembourg) composed the chapter “Luxembourg“.
