The new edition of the Global Practice Guide – Securitisation has been published by Chambers.
The Securitisation 2024 guide features over 20 jurisdictions and covers the latest developments in insolvency laws, special-purpose entities, the construction of bankruptcy-remote transactions, taxes and tax avoidance, accounting rules, disclosure laws or regulations, credit risk retention, rating agencies, the use of derivatives and synthetic securitisation.
The guide contains two sections: The “Law & Practice” section provides easily accessible information on navigating the legal system when conducting business in the jurisdiction. Leading lawyers explain local law and practice at key transactional stages and for crucial aspects of doing business. The “Trends & Developments” section gives an overview of current trends and developments in local legal markets. Leading lawyers analyse particular trends or provide a broader discussion of key developments in the jurisdiction.
GSK Stockmann contributed to the guide’s publication: Andreas Heinzmann (Partner at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg), Dr. Manuel Fernandez (Partner at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg), Valerio Scollo (Partner at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg) and Katharina Schramm (Senior Associate at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg) composed the section “Securitisation – Luxembourg Trends & Developments”.
This chapter was originally published in the Chambers Global Practice Guide – Securitisation and is available for download as a PDF file; the whole guide is free to access as eGuide and on the Chambers website.
