The Lawyer European Awards 2019: GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg is shortlisted in the category “Law Firm of the Year: Benelux”

GSK Stockmann Luxembourg has been shortlisted for the “European Awards 2019” in the category “Law Firm of the Year: Benelux” by the editors of the international industry magazine “The Lawyer”.

“We are delighted to see the positive development of GSK Luxembourg continue. Our nomination for ‘The Lawyer European Awards 2019’ for the second year in a row underlines this success,” says Andreas Heinzmann, International Partner at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg.

Dr. Oliver Glück, Managing Partner at GSK Stockmann adds, “We are very pleased about the nomination and the international recognition because it reflects the high quality of the legal services provided by our Luxembourg colleagues and confirms GSK Stockmann’s internationalization approach. At the same time, we view this nomination as success of the firm as a whole, as we have many German clients that our German and Luxembourg offices are working on together.

In November 2018, the Luxembourg-based Partner Andreas Heinzmann was elected International Partner, a newly created role to underpin GSK’s commitment to internationalization and the consistent implementation of the modernization course the firm is pursuing.

Having a strong international focus, the GSK Luxembourg office set out on a course of success as soon as it was founded in the spring of 2016. Since then, the Luxembourg team has grown rapidly and is now advising international clients on cross-border transactions and projects in the fields of investment funds, private equity, corporate law, real estate, capital markets, financing, (banking) supervisory law and tax law. Besides the European clientele, the steadily increasing number of Asian clients also contributed to this growth.

As leading financial center in Europe, Luxembourg is an important platform for international investors to develop and use various financial products. There is also positive development in other industry sectors which should bolster this location’s stability further.
