The eleventh edition of The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Securitisation has been published by the Global Legal Group. This guide provides international practitioners and in-house counsels with a comprehensive worldwide legal analysis of the laws and regulations of securitisation.
The guide is divided into two main sections: General chapters and country question and answer chapters.
While the five general chapters are designed to provide readers with an overview of key securitization issues, particularly from the perspective of a multi-jurisdictional transaction, the country question and answer chapters provide a broad overview of common issues in securitisation laws and regulations in 27 jurisdictions.
In detail, the guide covers common issues in securitisation laws and regulations – including receivables contracts, receivables purchase agreement, asset sales, security issues, insolvency laws, special rules, regulatory issues and taxation. In the country question and answer chapters the following areas of law covered include: Receivables Contracts, Choice of Law – Receivables Contracts, Choice of Law – Receivables Purchase Agreement, Asset Sales, Security Issues, Insolvency Laws, Special Rules, Regulatory Issues, and Taxation.
GSK Stockmann contributed to the Guide’s publication: Andreas Heinzmann (lawyer and Partner at GSK Stockmann office in Luxembourg) and Valerio Scollo (lawyer and Senior Associate at GSK Stockmann office in Luxembourg) composed the Country Question and Answer Chapter “Luxembourg“.
