The new edition of the Global Practice Guide – Banking & Finance has been published by Chambers.
The new Banking & Finance 2023 guide covers over 35 jurisdictions. The guide provides the latest legal information on the loan market in a given jurisdiction, including the impact of the Ukraine war and ESG lending; loan structuring and documentation, including restrictions on foreign lenders; tax issues; guarantees and security; enforcement; bankruptcy and insolvency; and project finance.
The guide contains two sections: The “Law & Practice” section provides easily accessible information on navigating the legal system when conducting business in the jurisdiction. Leading lawyers explain local law and practice at key transactional stages and for crucial aspects of doing business. The “Trends & Developments” section gives an overview of current trends and developments in local legal markets. Leading lawyers analyse particular trends or provide a broader discussion of key developments in the jurisdiction.
GSK Stockmann contributed to the guide’s publication: Andreas Heinzmann (Partner at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg), Hawa Mahamoud (Senior Associate at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg) and Christoforos Naziroglou composed the section “Banking & Finance 2023 – Luxembourg: Law & Practice”.
The chapter was originally published by Chambers & Partners and is available for download as a PDF file; the whole guide is free to access on the Chambers website.
