For the financing of an existing property, the Berlin-based single-purpose company SCP Eisenzahnstraße 11-16 GmbH & Co. KG issued a fixed-interest collateralised bond of EUR 10 million. The bond is transmitted digitally via the online financing platform www.iFunded.de which is operated by iEstate GmbH, Berlin. SCHIEDERMAIR advised the online real estate investment platform iFunded on the expansion of its range of investment opportunities on securities issues.
The bond instrument is increasingly used by real estate companies in order to secure liquidity for real estate projects and transactions in addition to the classic credit financing. These bonds are distributed via online platforms. This secured bond of EUR 10 million means that iFunded is entering a new dimension for digital financing platforms.
